- Where did you grow up? Although I call Charleston, SC the place I grew up, before I turned 11, I lived in Turkey, Florida, Virginia, Panama and Colorado. Ironically, I was born here at Andrews AFB.
- How did you become a part of JC? We started attending JC 2 weeks after moving here to the DC area in the summer of 2008. For Brandi, it was only a week....when I heard JC met in a movie theatre, I sent her to scout things out. It turned out all good though! I thought to myself, 'Self, where else can you tithe and walk out with a $10 bucket of popcorn?'
- Favorite Childhood Hero? Loved the Flash! Oh, and Batman.....WITHOUT Robin
- What’s on your iPod? A giant clip. I have the original ipod nano, which is about as big as a walkman. Oh, you mean songs....old school rap, R&B, and let's just say everything else falls into "other"
- Favorite vacation spot? Vacation….I’m not familiar with that term
- Favorite food(s)? Surf n turf
- Favorite pastime(s)? God blessed me with quickness, so as a kid, I played baseball (leadoff, ss), basketball (pg) and football (rb/wr) growing up. Now that I’m old, golf seems to be my preferred method of exercise (riding, of course). But don’t think for one minute I can’t do the other 3 effectively at my age
- Favorite quote? “The good Lord gave you a body that can stand most anything. It’s your mind you have to convince.” – Vince Lombardi
- Favorite TV show? Anything sports related…..except Nascar
- Favorite pro/college sports team(s)? Florida State Seminoles – isn’t this everybody’s favorite?
- Favorite band(s) or music group(s)/artist(s)? Boyz II Men, Snoop Dogg
- Who’s your hero? My parents. They sacrificed a lot to make certain my brother and I never did without. I just never realized how much until I became a parent
- What is one unique fact about yourself? I’m faster than you!
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Ireland. I would love to go play some of the links style golf courses there, then enjoy a pint (or two) of guinness
