"Five Ways To Say I'm Sorry (and mean it!)"

One of the reasons that many of our relationships aren't as strong as they could be is because, as fallen people, we hurt others a lot and we rarely stop to clean up our messes. We can think of plenty of excuses, can't we?  "Oh, they'll get over it" or "It's not that big of a deal." or "They know I'm sorry, I don't need to say it"...the list goes on and on.  But this inaction only leads to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and a relationship that isn't as strong as it could be.  Don't you want more?

Not only do we fall prey to the sin of inaction, we sometimes don't even say sorry correctly.  Did you know that just like there are 5 love languages, there are 5 "apology languages"?  We didn't either!  So not only do you have to get over your pride and insecurity to say sorry to someone, you need to know what their apology language is to make sure they are really hearing and accepting your apology.  You didn't realize that saying "I'm Sorry" was so much work, did you?!

Don't worry...if you join us on Sunday, we'll break it down in to bite-sized pieces so that you can really understand this whole apology language and start building your relationships up, rather than tearing them down.  Bring your family and friends with you; it's going to be a great day!
